🌀 Are We Living in a Simulation? A Spiritual Perspective on Responsibility and Choice ✨

In recent years, the idea that we live in a simulated reality has become a hot topic among spiritual seekers and thinkers. On one hand, I admire those who bravely discuss spiritual matters in our challenging and often harsh physical world. It takes courage to raise thought-provoking ideas and question the nature of reality itself.

However, with revolutionary spiritual concepts comes great responsibility. We must be cautious not to turn these ideas into convenient escapes from reality or excuses to avoid responsibility for our own spiritual direction.

What is Spiritual Direction? 🧭

Spiritual direction is simple yet profound: it is the spiritual path we choose—toward the values of Light, Darkness, or Degradation. This is the true reason we are here—to define our Spiritual Direction based on our Spiritual Choice. The physical reality around us is not random; it is a carefully constructed platform, tailored to our collective and individual levels of consciousness. It provides us with challenges, lessons, and, most importantly, Spiritual Choices.

The Illusion vs. The Purpose 🎭

Imagine walking into a kindergarten and telling children that their toys are not real and their imaginary worlds are meaningless. Would it serve any purpose for them? Would it bring growth or harm?

In the same way, telling people “it’s all just a simulation” without wisdom and guidance can do more harm than good. It can lead to passivity and a dangerous belief that nothing matters. But in truth, everything matters — because every thought, word, and action shapes our soul.

The Stock Market 💰 and Simulated Experiences

Have you ever played on the stock market? Do you remember your biggest wins and losses? And how about simulated platforms — can you recall any company you once invested in during practice?

When I was learning to drive a car, I first practiced on a simulator. Can you guess if I remember any of those virtual crashes? 😉 Probably not. But in real life, I remember every single detail of the one accident I had. Why? Because in reality, we are involved with our entire being — all seven bodies: physical, etheric, astral, mental, and the higher bodies. This involvement makes us learn the needed lesson on a much deeper level than a simulated experience could ever offer.

Defining Simulated Reality 🌀🌍

So, when we talk about simulated reality, we need to define very carefully what we mean. Yes — for our Higher brothers (those who guide us), this world is a platform they created for our development. But they designed it so we feel it as absolutely real! And there are no excuses for skipping any exercise or experience they’ve invested their energy into creating for us.

The Gift of Free Will 🔑

Our greatest spiritual gift from our Spiritual Father is free will.

Through free will, we make our spiritual choices—whether it is a choice toward Light, a choice toward Darkness, or, in the worst-case scenario, a choice toward Degradation.

Choosing Light is the most challenging path in a world dominated by material concerns and external values.

However, no higher force can make this choice for us—we must decide for ourselves. Every day, in both small and significant ways, we are given the opportunity to choose and to face the consequences of our decisions.

It’s important to understand that a Spiritual direction toward Light is not about making perfect choices every day. Rather, it is the ultimate orientation of the soul—the destination you commit to with your entire being. Life’s daily lessons serve as preparation, but it is your chosen Spiritual Direction that defines your journey’s true purpose.

Why This Reality Matters 🌍

Yes, the reality we experience is based on the level of consciousness we collectively hold. But that does not mean we are here just to “take it easy” and live a so-called “nice life” without reflection or responsibility. We are here to grow, to overcome, and to elevate ourselves and others by making conscious Spiritual Choices.

Professor and the Madman (2019)

Negative Karma

The metaphysical core of this sophisticated film is the negative karma that hit one of the main characters of the story.

The protagonist, Dr. William Chester Minor, caused suffering and pain to a stranger (a solder Declan Reilly). This happened during the American Civil War when William was on duty as a surgeon and captain.

No Peace

Sometime later, William began to hallucinate - Declan Reilly not only pursues him but also attacks him, threatening his life. To avoid danger, William leaves the US and seeks asylum in England. However, even in a new country, he fails to find peace.

Murder

One night, William wakes up and realizes that Declan Reilly has been at his house. Grabbing his revolver, he immediately begins to pursue the man. At a certain point in time, William catches up with the man and kills him. However, as it turns out that was the wrong man. That murdered man, a father of several children, didn't have anything to do with Declan Reilly.

Consciousness

Someone might object - there shouldn't be any negative karma involved as William did professional duties in wartime as anyone else would do. This conclusion is based on pure Western logic without consideration of the man's level of consciousness. However, from our Highest Brother's point of view, the punishment ( if any) must be given in accordance with the human's maturity of his soul, i.e. level of consciousness.

Incarnations

For example, very young souls with multiple incarnations in a human body could earn positive karma for faithfully following military orders (which William followed). However, the higher the consciousness, the greater the responsibility. Some religions, such as Buddhism, do not accept harm to any creature, even an insect, let alone a person.

Energetic level of Soul

Therefore, let's look at the captain and surgeon William in terms of the energy quantity and quality of his soul. 

In 1872 ( the year of William's imprisonment) only 1 person out of 5 could read and write, but William was not only literate, he got a much higher education with a deep knowledge of human anatomy and he worked as a surgeon. Also, as a great contributor to the Oxford Dictionary, he has a much higher intellectual level than an average man as well as very good organizational skills.

All the factors above are clear signs that the energetic level of his soul is much above average.

Spiritual Direction

Some might argue that highly intelligent villains hang around us without any punishment for their deeds.
And again, for a correct understanding, we need to look into the spiritual core of a person, or rather, in what Spiritual Direction¹ he moves.

Spiritual Choice

We must remember that Karmic lessons only work for spiritual beings moving toward the Light. Mature spiritual entities who have constantly made their Spiritual Choice toward Darkness no longer have the opportunity to correct their mistakes, as they "operate" under the complete control of Satan, the Head of Darkness.

Again, someone can object - but there is a third party involved in this case, and even one of them (the husband of Eliza Merrett) dies at the hand of William.

Sacrifice

That's true, our Highest Brothers put a lot of effort into giving a chance to correct mistakes for one individual soul.

And thanks to that, we observe constant spiritual progress in William, not only through his philanthropic help in making the Oxford Dictionary but especially via his voluntary sacrifice in favor of Eliza Merrett, the widow of the man whom he killed.

And of course, this progress would not have been possible if William had resisted this karmic lesson.

Similar Movie

This film is similar to the film The Machinist ( 2004), where negative karma teaches a protagonist to work on mistakes already in his current life.

Conclusion

The Professor and the Madman (2019) directed by Farhad Safinia  and written by Todd Komarnicki, Simon Winchester, and Farhad Safini is a highly spiritual biopic recommended to anyone interested in the work of karmic lessons

What was it like for the people who sold their souls, and what did they gain from it?

This is another fascinating soul question on Quora.

Soul selling is a simplified name for the complex process of transferring Free Will from a person to Satan*.

The process of selling the soul is well described by a number of authors, including Goethe in the tragic play "Faust";

and me, in the novella Tomo and The Soul Catchers, which became a base for the screenplay Heaven**.

In each of these cases, Satan is ready to satisfy any desire of the victim in exchange for his/her soul.

For example, due to such a deal, Faust got limitless knowledge, Dorian - eternal youth, and Cora - seductive beauty.

So, in principle, we can say that these guys got what they wanted from earthly pleasures. However, is everything so simple? Or are there side effects?

Yes, they are.

The soul becomes a slave of the Head of Darkness*, losing its own "voice", the freedom of further choice and decision-making.

The good news is that the soul will not be punished for its "bad deeds", meaning it avoids karma. On the other hand, it will forever lose the opportunity to become the Creator, "produce" souls, and the opportunity to become "first", since Satan (which the soul eventually become) is always "second" to God.

Also, for a short time, the soul avoids Degradation and the risk of spiritual death for the loss of energy. On the other hand, it will run the risk of spiritual death as a punishment for cruelty.

A young soul might say, "I enjoy earthly pleasures, I hate making decisions and don't like karma at all, so this might be great for me." But in fact, Satan's "kindness" is a well-disguised evil, and in all of the stories listed, the protagonist encounters side effects shortly after the deal and is deeply disappointed in what he/she has done.

After the soul's Earthly existence, Satan will continue to “work” on it sending it to study or labor in the hardened worlds to achieve the energies and goals that He wants.

The soul will not have the opportunity to choose a planet, body, etc., and the habitat and shell of the body can be really terrible.

One way or another, the process of selling the soul or the temptations of Satan stretches over hundreds or even thousands of incarnations and does not necessarily end with a deal, since the majority of souls still choose the direction to the Light, leaving Satan empty-handed. This case of Satan chasing the soul for five incarnations, is well described by me in the screenplay Redemption**, based on my novel Redemption.

Where do the new souls come from?

The interesting question appears on Quora: Where do the new souls come from?

The multiplication of souls suggests a logical problem, unless time is not linear and in my next life I come back in the Dark Ages as a peasant, and in the following in the 25th century. 

If lower life forms evolve into higher life forms, where do these new “souls” come from? The bio-mass of insects and non-human life forms is greater than the number of humans which might be 100 billion since the first homo sapiens.. The population is growing exponentially.

To answer the question "Where do souls come from?" we must examine the structure of the soul.

According to the latest esoteric knowledge, the soul consists of a matrix that works as a container for collecting various types of energies and the energies themselves.

There are two main ways to get souls' matrices.

1st way: 

Main stream - getting matrix from scratch

The matrix is ​​made by the Highest Assistants of our Spiritual Father (God).  

This process requires not only special skills and high energy potential, but also a special energy that can spiritualize these matrices. 

2nd way: 

Recycling of matrices

a. decoding of parasites

About 10% of the total number of souls do not have guts for evolution and are considered faulty. 

Most of these people are those who spend their valuable life time on fictitious pleasures. They parasitize on society and / or family, not bothering themselves with work or study. 

This does not give them the opportunity to collect energy either for their souls or for the needs of the Higher Ones.

God gives the parasite a chance to change within four human lifetimes. In the event that the soul still prefers not to work, a tough decision is made - this soul is taken for decoding. 

Decoding is the process of deleting all accumulated energies from the matrix and permanently removing the spiritual personality. The spiritual entity ends its existence, i.e., faces spiritual death.

The empty matrix is spiritualized and a new personality is born. This matrix is used to integrate into a new physical body.

The new spiritual entity begins to collect its own higher energies, filling the matrix with tiny particles of energies day after day for millennia until the matrix container is full.

b. decoding unreasonably cruel souls

In the same way, souls who display unjustified cruelty run the risk of facing the same fate, i.e. decoding. 

We have to admit, however, that in some exceptional cases, God gives Satan the opportunity to take this soul into His Hierarchy.

Why War? Part III: Can Creativity Survive? 💡

We must understand that the souls of the "Treasury Fund" having a higher consciousness see all flaws and imperfections of the physical reality and truly want to improve our world. 

Idea

But, in order to develop their ideas or implement a project, the Artists need money, at least to cover the cost of living.
So, some of them find part-time jobs, which are normally low-paid manual labor ( migration A).  

Low consciousness

In this process, the sophisticated souls face the primitiveness of the low consciousness and suffer. Many can't stand this and give up the development of their own ideas. 

They go to learn a profession that could provide them with a predictable monthly income ( migration B).

Physical world

Understanding the primitiveness and falsity of most of the knowledge of the physical world, the souls of higher consciousness rarely enter the magistracy or doctoral studies (migration C).

Those souls who lose their hope get depressed and end up in a mental hospital and, in the worst case, commit suicide (migration D).

Life project

The interruption of a life project by premature death is harmful not only for the soul itself but also for the Higher Ones since they invest a lot of resources both for the incarnation of the soul and for maintaining it on Earth. 

A return on Their investment runs in minus, and They start questioning the practicability of Their project on our planet.

High-quality energies

Someone might say, “I don't believe it's that bad. There must be other ways to make high-quality energies, not only through the daily energies of sophisticated souls of Treasury Fund.” 

Well, that's partly true. And now we come to another significant point - Spiritual Choice.

Choice

To be able to make any choice, including spiritual choices, you must have free will.

Free Will

Free will

Free will is given by our Spiritual Father to a soul at its first incarnation, i.e. to a young soul entering the human world from the animal kingdom ( illustration 1).

Heavenly programmers

This gift of free will is quite expensive for our God because instead of one direct program, Heavenly programmers need to make three - according to the number of directions of choice - a choice to Light, Darkness, and Degradation.

God

God goes to this extra expense because He wants to see us as diverse and individual. 

Spiritual Choice

Spiritual Choice plays the main role in the diversification of our souls.

Spiritual directions

At the moment of a Spiritual Choice a person faces two main spiritual directions - towards Light and Darkness ( illustration 1).  Degradation is a sub-direction and this is the worse case scenario for any soul.

Spiritual test

Spiritual Choice is a spiritual test for any person or group of people. The size of a group can be as big as a nation. 

Values

The guideline for spiritual choice is always a set of VALUES. The values of Darkness are opposite to the values of Light. 

Negative karma

Making a conscious choice towards the values of Darkness, a spiritual entity* acquires negative karma.  As a result, it receives a program and a guide from the Dark Ones, which brings suffering. 

Light Ones

In the event that the spiritual entity works off mistakes (the negative karma), the leader from the Dark Ones is replaced by the leader from the Light Ones, who introduces into her existence the values of Light and prosperity.

Grigory Rasputin - Light or Dark? Part III (A)

Very often, Grigory Rasputin was accused of drunkenness, debauchery, and even venality.  

To get to the bottom of the truth, we must understand why alcohol, sex, and money exist in the human world.

We must recognize that alcohol, sex, money, and so on are neither values ​​nor qualities of Darkness, but effective tools of Satan to tempt and test the human soul.

This main goal of Satan is to make a person addicted, and in the long run - to gain complete control over him.

negative karma

At best, the person will acquire negative karma, and retribution will prolong his existence in the physical world; in the worst case, his soul will be decoded¹ . There is an intermediate option - the person will be dragged into the Dark System with their CEO Satan.

Let's take a closer look at alcohol, sex, money closer to Grigory.

Alcohol

Grigory's favorite alcoholic drink was Madeira with a strength of 18–20%, which is two times lower than standard Russian vodka. 

Since Rasputin was a peasant from a Siberian village, where the morning begins with a large glass of vodka, Madeira was for him a secular drink.

Grigory's enemies tried their best to denigrate him and compromise him in front of the tsar’s family. Some representatives of high society hired actors and doubles for the role of the drunken Grigory. 

false admirers

Matryona Rasputina wrote that her father loved music and dancing, was an inquisitive person and was often molested by false admirers.

By slipping the drug into his drink, they created an environment with naked women, and photographed Grigory, in order to blackmail and manipulate him. One of the cases is described in Maria Rasputina's book "Rasputin. Why?"

WWI

It must also be understood that from the beginning of the mobilization of the Russian army for the First World War  (17th of July 1914) until his death ( 30th of December 1916), Grigory was in constant tension. His mission to influence the tsar Nikolai so that he would not enter the war failed. 

At the same time, the Russian tsar sincerely considered himself the keeper of the good name of the Romanov dynasty and the savior of the Russian Empire and did not want to hear about any peace. Both Nicholas and Alexandra lost interest in Grigory. The number of his fans and students also decreased. 

clairvoyance

It must be understood that, as a clairvoyant, Grigory saw the karmic projections of fate on himself, and on the royal family, and on the Russian people, and on the country, and this future terrified him. 

Such stress had to be extinguished somehow, but there was not much choice.

Sexual debauchery

Hieromonk Iliodor (S. Trufanov)² was one of the main figures in slandering Grigory and accusing him of debauchery.  Driven by pride and envy of Grigory's fame and success, Iliodor, who had much less energy and spiritual capabilities, came up with various absurdities, including Grigory's sexual relationship with the tsarina.

However, it is documented that Grigory was faithful to his family with three children all his life.

Arriving in St. Petersburg in 1903, he lived first in a monastery, then with his admirers, and only ten years later he moved into his own apartment.

While still living in someone else's apartment, he brought his daughters to St. Petersburg - Matryona first, and then Varvara. His wife refused to leave the farm and move to the city, visiting them once a year. 

At some point, Grigory's wife Praskovya Fedorovna underwent a total hysterectomy and she told her husband that she was ready for a divorce, but Grigory refused.

When political power came to Vladimir Lenin, the Bolsheviks began to look for materials to denigrate the tsar's family through its inner circle. 

They announced they were looking for Rasputin's female victims, but found none. Also, there was not a single case of pregnancy from Grigory. The close friends to tsar's family Anna Vyrubova/Taneeva, who was rumored to be Grigory's mistress, was, in fact, a virgin, as confirmed by several gynecologists.

surname

The most incredible rumors about Grigory spread not only in Russia, but also abroad and grew to unprecedented proportions. For example, in one of the English-language sources was said that Grigory's real surname was Novy³, but among the people, Grigory received the nickname Rasputin for debauchery.

As the matter of fact, the word Rasputin with the root «put'» has several meanings in the Russian language: 1. Rasputitsa = bad road;  2. Rasput’ye = crossroad;  3. Rasputnik = libertine.  The correct metaphysical meaning of the surname Grigory belongs to the second meaning, that is, the crossroads, hinting at the Spiritual Choice of the Russian Tsar.

Rasputin spoke of love as the highest Christian virtue, but his bright intention was conveniently turned by his enemies into carnal "love" understandable to everyone.

¹  Soul decoding is a spiritual death of a soul.

² Trufanov ended up abandoning faith and God, planning terrorist attacks against the existing government, organizing several assassination attempts on Grigory, and offering his services to the Bolsheviks.

³ "Novy" (new) was the first word of the little Tsarevich Alexei when he first saw Grigory. Since the name and surname Grigory Rasputin were widespread in Russia, it was decided to add the second surname "Novy" to the existing surname Rasputin. Since then, Grigory began to sign with a double surname: Rasputin-Novy. 

Note that two-word surnames with a hyphen were allowed only to nobles, and Grigory was a peasant, but by order of the tsar, he was given such a surname.
