Development of Consciousness. Insight. Part II ( out of III)

MAIN WAYS TO EVOLVE CONSCIOUSNESS

Like anything in the Universe, our Consciousness is a subject of Evolution and Devolution.

According to my observations, there are three main ways to evolve consciousness.

1. Personalized Answers & Questions

Always look for answers to your personal questions. The Internet, books, films, or people - all of these sources - are a great opportunity to find out your personal truth. Each answer to your question will increase the share of your wisdom and decrease the share of your ignorance.

However, this method has some disadvantages. Firstly, this is a long-term development; secondly, you must remain focused and you also need good luck.

2. Vipassana Meditation

About 2600 years ago, Gautama Buddha gave people the technique that we call Vipassana meditation today.

Gautama practiced various meditation techniques until he began the Vipassana - "to see things as they are."

This meditation allows you to learn to control your mind and purify your inner repository - the subconscious.  As a result, a balanced mind and cleaned from impurities subconscious are the goals of this process.

Therefore, we can call Vipassana meditation a high-speed path because it allows you to get rid of the impurity in your subconscious in a relatively short period of time. For Gautama, for instance, it took only one day.

Summing up, the cleaner subconscious allows running through your life project lighter, with fewer errors and attachments. Therefore, the saved time and energy will go to the evolution of consciousness.

However, there are some disadvantages to this methodology as well. For instance, you have to regularly practice meditation; besides, there is physical pain from the long sits; moreover, there are some side effects.

3. Choice of Light

A Spiritual Choice towards Light is a shortcut to enlightenment and consequently full liberation from your reincarnation chain.

What is Spiritual Choice?

For example,  at a certain moment in life, one faces a situation of Spiritual Choice*. The spiritual choice is a test for an individual to define a further direction of movement – to Light or to Darkness. The principle of the choice is based on Free Will, which our Creator generously gave to an Individual.

Most importantly, the right choice provides you with an upgrade of your Consciousness. The best reference to how Spiritual Choice affects a human is described in the fictional novel Redemption.

Sample

These three ways for the improvement of our consciousness can be compared by traveling by car.

The first way (Questions & Answers) can be compared to traveling along a countryside road with a 40 km/hour speed limit, i.e. slow.

The second option (Vipassana) is as driving along a highway with a speed limit of 120 km/hour, i.e. faster.

While the third option, the Choice of Light, is a shortcut. The shorter alternative route allows you to save time and gasoline, and as a result, to arrive at a destination much earlier than using two other methods.

The best result, however, is achieved by a combination of all three methods.

To be continued...

* Note: some people have no spiritual choice because they have already made a final choice of the direction toward Darkness and, as a result, have lost the ability to have free will.

Development of Consciousness. Insight. Part I (out of III)

OUR LOW CONSCIOUSNESS

We are all gathered here, on this dense planet, due to our low consciousness.

life scenario

Each of us receives an individual life scenario as a present at birth.
As a result, everyone gets the opportunity to correct errors and misdeeds made in previous lives.

evolution

This allows us to continue our movement to the next level of evolution.
Unfortunately, because of our limited vision, clearing our previous karma does not eliminate the new stream of errors.

incarnation

Therefore, we are forced to incarnate again and again.
But is there a way to eliminate the shortcomings accumulated in the past, and at the same time prevent new errors?
Yes, there is!

vision

An ideal scenario would be to improve personal vision.
Vision is a direct product of consciousness.

consciousness level 1

For example, imagine you were born on the ground floor of a building, and your vision is limited to the view from your window.
Therefore, you think that this is the only reality that exists.
You see the courtyard in front of your window, a tree, and a small path to the forest.
So, you make decisions based on this picture. You are not aware of opportunities that go beyond that.

consciousness level 2

Now imagine that at some point in your life you moved to the 10th floor of the same building.
Accordingly, the picture from the window has changed. Now you can see the whole park, the lake next to it, a large road and the city.
Thus, this point of view gives you a better vision and greater opportunities.

consciousness level 3

Next, imagine that you are moving to the 100th floor. Now you can see another city behind the lake, several highways, the coast, and even another country.

As a result, you will find new opportunities beyond your imagination.

to sum up

Summing up, we can say that the floors of the building are levels of consciousness, and the view from the window is your vision of a life project.
Thus, improving consciousness gives you better vision, which helps you move through life more efficiently and with fewer errors.

To be continued...

"Ask, and it will be given to you;
Seek, and you will find;
Knock, and it will be opened to you."

- Holy Bible

Kyle XY ( TV series 2006-2009). Spiritual Movie Review - Jacklyn A. Lo

Kyle XY

"Who am I?”

The first key phrase in the Kyle XY ( TV series 2006-2009)  is "Who am I?”

Fifteen-year-old Kyle appears from out of nowhere and asks himself that question: “Who am I?”

Gratitude

Kyle expresses continuous gratitude to his adoptive parents and tries to avoid anything that could hurt them. He is kind to his girlfriend and truly cares about her well-being. Kyle says that "she is perfect".

Unfortunately, Kyle’s attitude toward his parents and friends does not apply to the "normal" teenagers around him.

"Normal" teenagers

The spoiled girls and boys take for granted everything that has been given to them. They look for entertainment in bad relationships and alcohol.

Cynically moving through their lives, they don't bother with kind words for their significant others. For example, Kyle's brother-in-law comments about his girlfriend, "She stinks of sweat".

In the best-case scenario, a "normal" teenager cares about a sport mostly because it represents a chance for him to become "the best". However, this intention is not based on the idea of developing his personal spiritual strength. Rather, it stems from personal pride—the desire to show off and be better than others. This attitude results in separation from others and, in the long run, creates loneliness and frustration.

Unlike his peers, Kyle, when in a problematic situation, thinks about collective justice and benefits for others rather than for himself.

Ignorance

The second keyword in this series is “ignorance”.

Most of the teens ignorantly squander their large inheritances.

Why inheritance?

Our current existence in the human life form is an investment of thousands, or even millions, of spiritual embodiments.

In our previous lives, we worked very hard for the chance to be embodied in a human body. To be human is a reward, which, in accordance with Hindu beliefs, could also be taken back.

Because of some positive karma that they collected in their previous existences, these teens earned the opportunity to live in an economically advantaged environment. Such surroundings provide greater opportunities for personal growth than do developing countries.

Reincarnation

Unfortunately, in the very early stage of Christianity, the concept of reincarnation was cut off and an individual was thrown into the concept of a one-life existence. That has shut down an opportunity for the individual to obtain a deeper understanding of himself*.

As a result, at the current stage, average Westerners seek only a “nice” current life, without looking beyond and seeing the very hard work they have done throughout an uncounted number of incarnations.

Molly’s Game (2017). Spiritual Movie Review - Jacklyn A. Lo

Some of us came to Earth for the very last time, for the very last test. Sometimes the mission of these mature souls is to identify their imperfection and solve it. That allows them to make a final exit—to fully liberate themselves from physical reality, without a return to it.

One such challenger is a young woman called Molly.

Molly expresses herself as a mature soul from a very young age. When her father interviews her, Molly’s answers are smart. She shows herself as an Individual. Her father "works" as a very supportive asset for her mission.

Just as a sick person looks for the cure to his or her disease, Molly is looking to reveal her own weaknesses and flaws. However, Molly doesn’t necessarily recognize that mission herself. As with most of us, her past lives and memories are blocked from her consciousness and she moves blindly through her life script.

As any mature soul does, she also has a high energetic potential, which gives her the ability to identify opportunities when they come to her. When Molly’s boss discriminates against her refusing to pay her what she’s worth, she leaves him to open her own business.

Following her mission and driven by the Law of Evolution, she has a life script that gives her a chance to exercise a high-energy project: gambling.

This project provides Molly with great opportunities to test her inner qualities. She recognises that she feels GREED and her father points out that she has a desire for POWER. The DIAGNOSIS has been made.

Greed and the desire for power are mental pollutions, i.e., sins, over which Molly must prevail on her Path of Evolution.

And her life scenario brings leads her to a "game-changer" situation.

As a mature soul, Molly has respect for LAW and legality, so she tries to make her business as "clean" as possible. Still, she ends up in court and is pushed to leave the world of gambling.

Now, when she has a diagnosis as well as time for herself, it's the perfect moment to take care of her imperfections and fully focus on self-improvement.

This is an excellent movie!

Extra Note:
This story is a perfect example of how life can be limited to an almost "no-choice" scenario when a spiritual entity is so close to Exit—i.e., liberation from physical reality forever.

Redemption. Excerpt Three

EXCERPT THREE

“Well, that was a most enjoyable vacation,” Ann said as she steered her car away from her apartment building. “Though I’m not entirely certain I could call it restful!”
Rob’s face appeared on the screen, smiling broadly. “Quite,” he said. “You sure managed to pack plenty into a couple of days!”
“To be honest, I’m relieved to be returning to work. It’s as though the craziness of the last two days is finally being replaced with some kind of normality.”
That being said, Ann’s sleep had been disturbed once again by one of her usual haunting dreams.
She had hoped her visit to the psychic would have dealt with all that, but she’d had that same vision; the infinite spiral holding her in its grasp as it stretched away through time and space.
The only difference was that, far in the distance, she felt that it connected her with Mi.
“Rob?” she said, as she pulled onto the express tube and switched the car’s systems over to the tube’s SmartDrive server.
“Yes, my lady.”
“Did you find out a lot of information on the… spiritual stuff we were talking about the other day?”
“Of course.”
Ann paused, not sure what she wanted to ask, or at least what she wanted to ask first. “Do you believe in Evolution? Or in the whole Adam and Eve, God made everything in seven days… stuff?”
“I think you’ll find it was six days. And the answer is yes. I believe in them both.”
Ann frowned and, with the car now safely in the control of the SmartDrive, reclined her seat and turned to face Rob’s screen. “Come on! How can you believe both?”
“Because they appear to contradict each other?  It’s quite simple. In fact, many humans do it without thinking.”
“Really?”
“Sure. Take, for example, the fact that most people believe in Free Will, yet at the same time consider themselves to be in some way under the influence of a higher power such as fate or God. You make your own choices, but live out a specific purpose.”
“I guess.” Ann turned her gaze back to the windshield, which was now displaying one of the many “environments” provided by the SmartDrive system. At present, it was set to Ann’s favourite, sunlit waterfalls, which helped her to relax and concentrate. “So,” she continued, “what has your research turned up? What is God’s purpose for us humans?”
“It’s hidden for the blind, my lady. And yet open for those who can see.”
Ann rolled her eyes. “What is that supposed to mean? You sound like a fortune cookie!”
“Firstly,” said Rob, with a slightly mischievous smile, “We’re dealing with secret knowledge here, knowledge which is different for each person and the only way to attain it is to earn it.”
“And secondly?”
“Secondly, a person must at least be interested in such knowledge.”
Ann frowned somewhat defensively. “I am interested!”
“You are now. But this wasn’t always the case, my lady, and this is sadly true for many people. They are too busy to think about the purpose of their existence because they spend all their time focused on earning money, sorting out family problems, fighting with neighbours or any of a thousand other things. Across the city people are sitting in traffic jams; the same is true of their lives. They are too caught up in the worries of their existence to really live!” Rob smiled suddenly. “We, however, seem to be moving quite freely.”
Ann glanced out of the window.  He had a point. Sure the tunnel was pricey, but it was better than being snarled up on the streets with everyone else. Why did freedom always seem to come at a cost?
“This is fascinating, Rob. I’ve never heard anything like this, not in school or college… not anywhere.”
“That’s because you’ve been too busy, just like everyone else. But now you are on the way not only to discovering your purpose but fulfilling it!”
“But I’m also still pretty busy. So how do I go about all this? Should I go to a church or something?”
Rob raised his eyebrows at the question. “Go to church? My research suggests that such organizations have mostly become infected by the same evil; they’re busy. They focus on quantity rather than quality. They tend not to serve individuals so much as expecting it to work the other way round. But…” He paused.
“But what?”
“But you have already made some progress. You are exploring your truth by yourself.”
“I guess.”
Ann took hold of the wheel again as the waterfalls on the windshield were replaced by the sleek interior of the tunnel. She was approaching her exit.
“But these religious organizations must have something to say about the general purpose of our existence, no?”
“Certainly. And as you’d expect, there are many conflicting points of view, from those who believe humans exist to bring glory to God to those who believe people are nothing more than some cosmic accident, without purpose or meaning.”
Ann thought for a moment as she disconnected from the SmartDrive server and steered the car up the exit ramp towards the street.
“I guess, in a way, that’s what I’ve always assumed. Though when you put it in those terms, it sounds pretty bleak.”
As she emerged from the tunnel and merged with the Chicago traffic, another car nearly drove into the side of her and she beeped the horn crossly.
“Idiot!” she shouted.
“Almost another cosmic accident!” said Rob.
“Quite.” Ann tried to concentrate on what they had been discussing, wishing she still had the calming waterfalls to help. “So what about those who believe in God? What do they say about, what was it? Living for His glory?”
“That depends. Christianity teaches that such a life is based on a relationship with the Creator acknowledging His greatness, giving Him honour by praising and worshipping Him.
Their aim, most of them anyway, is to love God more and so live in a way that makes him look great. That is what they mean by ‘living for his glory’.”
“So, how is that supposed to work?” asked Ann, frowning with a mixture of confusion and frustration.
“And how long does it take to be changed in such a way?”
“It is supposed to work the same as any other relationship; though most do not involve people trying to love someone they can neither see nor touch. The process is said to take the whole of a person’s life.”
“One life?”
“One life,” said Rob with a nod. “Their Holy Bible says, ‘it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this cometh judgment’”.
“Cometh?” Ann laughed. “Why can’t they speak English, like everyone else? So what about people who believe you live more than once?”
“Reincarnation? That is more of an Eastern concept, taught by the Hindus, Buddhists and suchlike.”
“Fine. So what do they teach about the meaning of life? Or rather the meaning of lives?”
“You’ve heard of Nirvana?”
Ann turned the car around the last corner towards the A.I.I. building. “The rock band?”
“Hardly. Those religions that believe a person has many lives teach that the goal of those lives is to achieve Nirvana, ultimate freedom from all that is evil. Becoming one, as it were, with everything, even with God himself.”
“And how does one achieve this Nirvana?”
“By living increasingly pure and disciplined lives dedicated to spiritual pursuits. Each life, you see, is affected by the former lives. They call it karma.”
“I’ve heard of karma,” said Ann, pulling up in her usual space and cutting the engine. “So how many lives does it take? Would two be enough?”
“No one knows,” said Rob as Ann picked up her E-A device from the dash. “The cycle of birth and death has been continuous throughout time, but I suspect Nirvana cannot be achieved with only a couple of lives.”
“Interesting!”
Ann switched off the device and slipped it into her bag as she headed towards the elevator. And while she travelled up to the Sales and Marketing floor, she wondered to herself just how many other lives she had had.
Were there other past existences she knew nothing about affecting her life here today?
