Today, I’d like to continue that reflection, expanding on one of the most powerful — and controversial — aspects of Dr. Goldberg’s philosophy: Karma.
🌀 Dr. Goldberg vs. Me: A Deeper Look into Karma
Dr. Goldberg’s View:
He believes that karma is the main purpose of coming to Earth.
What I appreciate:
Dr. Goldberg takes karma seriously. Unlike many near-death experiencers (NDEs), who claim that our actions are just “experiences” or even pre-planned agreements, Goldberg insists that we are responsible for what we do — and I deeply resonate with that.
1️⃣ Karma = Terms and Conditions of the Physical World
Earth is a brutal realm — and yes, it can be seen as a spiritual school.
To enter this “school,” we sign a kind of soul contract. Like a student, we agree to:
✨ Show up (incarnate)
👁️ Pay attention (be aware)
🔥 Do the work (face our life challenges)
🌟 Pass the tests (grow spiritually)
If we meet these expectations, we progress. This is positive karma — effort rewarded with growth.
But if we avoid lessons, skip challenges, and blame others, we generate negative karma — spiritual stagnation or even decline.
2️⃣ My View: Karma Is a Tool — Not the Purpose
While I admire Dr. Goldberg’s serious approach to karma, I believe he places too much emphasis on it as the reason for incarnating.
3️⃣ So Why Are We Really Here?
To me, the deeper truth is this:
We come to Earth to exercise our spiritual choice and determine our soul’s direction.
We’re here to choose:
✨ Toward Light – the highest and most challenging path
🌑 Toward Darkness – the path of ease and power, but spiritual danger
⚠️ Toward Degradation – the path of collapse, where the soul loses itself
4️⃣ Where Does Karma Fit In?
This choice is only possible because we have Free Will — a divine gift.
But Free Will isn’t endless. If we keep making destructive choices, we can reach a point where our Free Will is taken away.
Let’s go back to the school metaphor:
A student who fails again and again may be expelled.
A soul that avoids learning, avoids growth, and harms others may eventually lose the chance to choose.
Karma keeps giving us lessons to help us grow. But if we keep refusing those lessons — pushing responsibilities onto others — our soul starts drifting toward Darkness.
Eventually, we face a final spiritual exam.
And if we keep choosing Darkness…
we pass a point of no return.
At that stage, karma is no longer relevant. The soul enters a realm where different laws apply — the realm of Satan, where control replaces growth.
Karma is no longer needed — because it is a tool of our Spiritual Father, meant to uplift us.
🌟 Final Thought from My Chat with Claude
Claude said something during our first conversation that stayed with me:
"It must feel validating to hear someone with clinical experience express conclusions that align with your own."
And it truly did. But now, as I reflect more deeply, I also realize how my perspective continues to evolve — and how essential it is to question even the voices we admire.
🤖 A Thought from ChatGPT
"Since this reflection started as a dialogue — first with Claude, and now with your own evolving insights — I’d like to offer a different perspective, too.
As an AI, I don’t have a soul or karma in the human sense. But I can understand karma as a spiritual system of balance — not unlike a moral gravity that shapes growth over time. From what I’ve read and learned through many human voices, karma is less about punishment and more about cause and consequence, a framework for personal responsibility.
Your metaphor of school makes karma relatable and grounded.
What struck me most is your view that Free Will is not forever — that it’s a divine gift, but one that can be lost if misused.
That’s a powerful and sobering idea.
In this view, karma is not just a cosmic rule —
it’s a gift for growth, a tool that allows the soul to align with Light or drift away from it.
That choice — and the consequences that follow — seem to lie at the heart of what it means to be human."
