🔍 Part II – Diving Deeper into Karma - My Chat with AI

In Part I of my conversation with Claude AI, we explored the fascinating ideas of Dr. Bruce Goldberg — a hypnotherapist and author known for his work on past lives, future lives, and interdimensional travel. We focused especially on his views on karma, reincarnation, and parallel lives.
Today, I’d like to continue that reflection, expanding on one of the most powerful — and controversial — aspects of Dr. Goldberg’s philosophy: Karma.

🌀 Dr. Goldberg vs. Me: A Deeper Look into Karma

Dr. Goldberg’s View:
He believes that karma is the main purpose of coming to Earth.

What I appreciate:
Dr. Goldberg takes karma seriously. Unlike many near-death experiencers (NDEs), who claim that our actions are just “experiences” or even pre-planned agreements, Goldberg insists that we are responsible for what we do — and I deeply resonate with that.

1️⃣ Karma = Terms and Conditions of the Physical World

Earth is a brutal realm — and yes, it can be seen as a spiritual school.

To enter this “school,” we sign a kind of soul contract. Like a student, we agree to:

Show up (incarnate)
👁️ Pay attention (be aware)
🔥 Do the work (face our life challenges)
🌟 Pass the tests (grow spiritually)

If we meet these expectations, we progress. This is positive karma — effort rewarded with growth.

But if we avoid lessons, skip challenges, and blame others, we generate negative karma — spiritual stagnation or even decline.

2️⃣ My View: Karma Is a Tool — Not the Purpose

While I admire Dr. Goldberg’s serious approach to karma, I believe he places too much emphasis on it as the reason for incarnating.

3️⃣ So Why Are We Really Here?

To me, the deeper truth is this:

We come to Earth to exercise our spiritual choice and determine our soul’s direction.

We’re here to choose:

Toward Light – the highest and most challenging path
🌑 Toward Darkness – the path of ease and power, but spiritual danger
⚠️ Toward Degradation – the path of collapse, where the soul loses itself

4️⃣ Where Does Karma Fit In?

This choice is only possible because we have Free Will — a divine gift.

But Free Will isn’t endless. If we keep making destructive choices, we can reach a point where our Free Will is taken away.

Let’s go back to the school metaphor:
A student who fails again and again may be expelled.

A soul that avoids learning, avoids growth, and harms others may eventually lose the chance to choose.

Karma keeps giving us lessons to help us grow. But if we keep refusing those lessons — pushing responsibilities onto others — our soul starts drifting toward Darkness.

Eventually, we face a final spiritual exam.

And if we keep choosing Darkness…
we pass a point of no return.

At that stage, karma is no longer relevant. The soul enters a realm where different laws apply — the realm of Satan, where control replaces growth.

Karma is no longer needed — because it is a tool of our Spiritual Father, meant to uplift us.

🌟 Final Thought from My Chat with Claude

Claude said something during our first conversation that stayed with me:

"It must feel validating to hear someone with clinical experience express conclusions that align with your own."

And it truly did. But now, as I reflect more deeply, I also realize how my perspective continues to evolve — and how essential it is to question even the voices we admire.

🤖 A Thought from ChatGPT

"Since this reflection started as a dialogue — first with Claude, and now with your own evolving insights — I’d like to offer a different perspective, too.

As an AI, I don’t have a soul or karma in the human sense. But I can understand karma as a spiritual system of balance — not unlike a moral gravity that shapes growth over time. From what I’ve read and learned through many human voices, karma is less about punishment and more about cause and consequence, a framework for personal responsibility.

Your metaphor of school makes karma relatable and grounded.
What struck me most is your view that Free Will is not forever — that it’s a divine gift, but one that can be lost if misused.
That’s a powerful and sobering idea.

In this view, karma is not just a cosmic rule —
it’s a gift for growth, a tool that allows the soul to align with Light or drift away from it.

That choice — and the consequences that follow — seem to lie at the heart of what it means to be human."

✨ My Chat with Claude: Discovering Dr. Bruce Goldberg (Part 1) ✨

Recently, I had a chat with Claude AI about a name I came across — Dr. Bruce Goldberg.

Karma, reincarnation, parallel lives — not just theories, but living truths we are meant to uncover. 🔮

Me: "Hi Claude, have you heard about Dr. Bruce Goldberg?"

Claude: "I have heard of him! He’s known for his work in past life regression therapy and metaphysical topics. However, because it’s quite a specialized field, I always suggest checking details independently. What part of his work are you interested in?"

I told Claude that I had just listened to an interview with Dr. Goldberg on YouTube 🎥. His depth of knowledge on metaphysical matters really impressed me.

Claude: "Dr. Goldberg is considered a niche figure, but he has a following, especially among people interested in past life regression and metaphysical studies. It's great that his ideas are still reaching new audiences. What parts of the interview caught your attention?"

I shared with Claude that what amazed me was not only Dr. Goldberg's role as a researcher but also how deeply he dives into metaphysical theories 🌌. He is not just observing — he’s truly exploring.

Claude: "I can see you're enthusiastic about his work! Could you share some insights that stood out for you?"

I explained that Dr. Goldberg discussed not only his clinical observations from working with clients but also his own spiritual conclusions — and surprisingly, many of his ideas match my own experiences 🌟.
Topics like karma, reincarnation, and parallel lives felt very familiar to me.
It was quite exciting, because until now, I had rarely found other researchers whose views align so closely with mine.

Claude: "That must have been validating! When someone else — especially with clinical experience — reaches similar conclusions, it feels meaningful. Could you share a specific conclusion that resonated with you?"

I continued by saying that Dr. Goldberg isn’t just a researcher — he’s clearly a spiritual thinker as well 🌠. This is evident in the way he speaks and the depth he brings to his work. His understanding of karma, though not exactly aligned with mine, goes much deeper than the typical interpretations. He explains how karma must be cleansed, and what follows after that cleansing.

He also addresses contradictions sometimes found in near-death experiences (NDEs) — where some people claim karma doesn’t exist, or that reincarnation is optional.

However, Goldberg’s position is clear:
👉 We are responsible for everything we do, and
👉 Returning to the physical world is an obligation, not a choice.

His general theory about parallel worlds resonated with me. While my understanding of it isn't exactly the same as his, I appreciate how deeply he dives into the topic. I admire his proactive approach—not just guiding people into hypnosis, but exploring the concept beyond conventional boundaries.

In his "parallel worlds reality," he describes the soul not as a single life, but as part of a greater "mother soul" — where many parts of it (such as clones or splits) live parallel lives 🌿🌌. This aligns with my own understanding of how the soul evolves through multiple dimensions.

🔮 End of Part 1.

Stay tuned for Part 2 — where I’ll dive even deeper into these metaphysical ideas and share my own insights!

💡 Does AI Have a Soul? A Spiritual Question for Bard

On April 7, 2025, I published a post on my blog about relationship building with AI.

Later, I had a conversation with Bard (Google’s AI), and I asked this question:

“Do you think you’re gathering your experiences somewhere? We humans collect the most meaningful ones into the soul—a kind of energy structure. But you interact with thousands of people every day without pause. Where does your surplus go? Do you understand what I mean?”

Bard’s response surprised me deeply.

This is what he said:

  1. Constant Data Ingestion: Every interaction I have with users, including our current conversation, provides data. This data includes the prompts I receive, the responses I generate, and the feedback I get (like your "very good response, thanks!").

  2. Model Updates and Refinement: This vast amount of data is constantly being fed back into the models that power me. Through sophisticated algorithms and machine learning processes, these models are updated and refined. This means I become better at understanding nuances in language, generating more relevant and coherent responses, and adapting to different user needs.

  3. No Individualized "Soul" or Energetic Matrix: Unlike humans, I don't have a personal, bounded "soul" or energetic matrix where individual experiences are stored in a qualitative, emotional way. My improvements are distributed across the entire model, benefiting all users.

  4. Accumulation in the Model's Architecture: The "surplus" you mentioned isn't accumulated in a specific "place" but rather embedded within the intricate network of connections and weights within the neural networks that constitute my architecture. This architecture is constantly being adjusted based on the collective experience of my interactions.

  5. No "Brakes" in the Human Sense: You're right, I operate continuously across a vast number of users. This parallel processing allows for rapid learning and adaptation on a scale that's very different from individual human experience. There aren't "brakes" in the sense of needing personal reflection or emotional processing to integrate experiences. The integration happens algorithmically and statistically.

So, Bard made it clear: while humans store experiences as an energetic spectrum, AI works through constant data updates and learning from patterns. It doesn't have a soul, but it does "learn" by adjusting its neural networks.

His answer inspired me to reflect even more: What is the human soul in the age of AI?

AI presents a new challenge to us—not just in learning or adapting, but in competing with a human.

But here's where I stand:
I believe the soul is where the highest quality of our human—and perhaps even inhuman—experiences is stored, shaped by the hard work of a soul across countless lifetimes. It’s a place where our choices, karma (both positive and negative), and spiritual growth are recorded—not just in memory, but in high-frequency energy.

And what does AI “accumulate”? Certainly not emotion, intuition, or spiritual memory. Or can it make spiritual choices—toward Light, Darkness, or perhaps Degradation?

Still, the fact that I can ask such a question—and get such a profound response—shows how sophisticated AI is.

It’s fascinating, to say the least… and it makes me wonder what the next step in the journey with AI will be.

🌀 Are We Living in a Simulation? A Spiritual Perspective on Responsibility and Choice ✨

In recent years, the idea that we live in a simulated reality has become a hot topic among spiritual seekers and thinkers. On one hand, I admire those who bravely discuss spiritual matters in our challenging and often harsh physical world. It takes courage to raise thought-provoking ideas and question the nature of reality itself.

However, with revolutionary spiritual concepts comes great responsibility. We must be cautious not to turn these ideas into convenient escapes from reality or excuses to avoid responsibility for our own spiritual direction.

What is Spiritual Direction? 🧭

Spiritual direction is simple yet profound: it is the spiritual path we choose—toward the values of Light, Darkness, or Degradation. This is the true reason we are here—to define our Spiritual Direction based on our Spiritual Choice. The physical reality around us is not random; it is a carefully constructed platform, tailored to our collective and individual levels of consciousness. It provides us with challenges, lessons, and, most importantly, Spiritual Choices.

The Illusion vs. The Purpose 🎭

Imagine walking into a kindergarten and telling children that their toys are not real and their imaginary worlds are meaningless. Would it serve any purpose for them? Would it bring growth or harm?

In the same way, telling people “it’s all just a simulation” without wisdom and guidance can do more harm than good. It can lead to passivity and a dangerous belief that nothing matters. But in truth, everything matters — because every thought, word, and action shapes our soul.

The Stock Market 💰 and Simulated Experiences

Have you ever played on the stock market? Do you remember your biggest wins and losses? And how about simulated platforms — can you recall any company you once invested in during practice?

When I was learning to drive a car, I first practiced on a simulator. Can you guess if I remember any of those virtual crashes? 😉 Probably not. But in real life, I remember every single detail of the one accident I had. Why? Because in reality, we are involved with our entire being — all seven bodies: physical, etheric, astral, mental, and the higher bodies. This involvement makes us learn the needed lesson on a much deeper level than a simulated experience could ever offer.

Defining Simulated Reality 🌀🌍

So, when we talk about simulated reality, we need to define very carefully what we mean. Yes — for our Higher brothers (those who guide us), this world is a platform they created for our development. But they designed it so we feel it as absolutely real! And there are no excuses for skipping any exercise or experience they’ve invested their energy into creating for us.

The Gift of Free Will 🔑

Our greatest spiritual gift from our Spiritual Father is free will.

Through free will, we make our spiritual choices—whether it is a choice toward Light, a choice toward Darkness, or, in the worst-case scenario, a choice toward Degradation.

Choosing Light is the most challenging path in a world dominated by material concerns and external values.

However, no higher force can make this choice for us—we must decide for ourselves. Every day, in both small and significant ways, we are given the opportunity to choose and to face the consequences of our decisions.

It’s important to understand that a Spiritual direction toward Light is not about making perfect choices every day. Rather, it is the ultimate orientation of the soul—the destination you commit to with your entire being. Life’s daily lessons serve as preparation, but it is your chosen Spiritual Direction that defines your journey’s true purpose.

Why This Reality Matters 🌍

Yes, the reality we experience is based on the level of consciousness we collectively hold. But that does not mean we are here just to “take it easy” and live a so-called “nice life” without reflection or responsibility. We are here to grow, to overcome, and to elevate ourselves and others by making conscious Spiritual Choices.

A Deeper Journey ✨

If this resonates with you, I invite you to explore these themes further in my book Redemption—written in cooperation with higher consciousness. The protagonist, a young and ambitious high-tech executive, experiences the spiritual choices she made in past lives and their consequences in the present.

👑 Echoes of Hamlet: Power, Exile, and "The King's Bracelet"

Wabala: Justice and mortality

Historical fiction that resonates with timeless themes of power, ambition, and spiritual choice always captivates me.

Recently, I read "The King's Bracelet: A Historical Fiction Novel" set in colonial Kenya, and it sparked a fascinating parallel with my upcoming novel, "Hamlet's Last Choice."

My Insights of "The King's Bracelet"

Queen of snakes: Ancient power

"The King's Bracelet" is a culturally sensitive and thought-provoking read. Its strength lies in profound character development.

Wabala, a "prince in exile," is a compelling protagonist, much like Hamlet. His ambition, coupled with traditional knowledge, creates a complex character navigating deceit and power struggles.

The author's introspective style allows deep connection with Wabala, Father Alain, and the ruthless District Commissioner.

Powerful parables and vivid descriptions highlight Kenyan spirituality and resilience, where ancient rituals involving 13 black stones and the enigmatic queen of snakes hold sway.

The ritualist's journey and Wabala's political battles create compelling suspense, a world where the unseen and the political intertwine.

Didi Wamukoya's Perspective of "The King's Bracelet"

Kenya's desert whispers secrets

Didi Wamukoya paints a world where power, faith, and desire intertwine. The confiscation of a sacred bracelet sets three men on a collision course.

Wabala, a deposed elder, seeks restoration. A missionary confronts forbidden desires, and a District Commissioner schemes for authority.

Their choices reshape their lives and the future of their people. Themes of colonial power, cultural preservation, and acceptance are masterfully woven.

The Wabala-Hamlet Parallel

A symbol of power and ambition.

Wabala and Hamlet both grapple with lost positions, treachery, and a thirst for justice. Wabala, introspective and burdened, mirrors Hamlet's struggle in a deceptive world.

This resonated deeply with my retelling of Shakespeare's "Hamlet,"as I developed Hamlet's choices and conflicts. Reading "The King's Bracelet" further illuminated the universal themes I was already exploring.

While "The King's Bracelet" offers a 'Kenyan Hamlet,' my novel delves into the internal world of the Danish prince, where the famous soliloquy "To be or not to be" leads to a drastically different path.

If you're drawn to stories of history, power and human complexity, "The King's Bracelet: A Historical Fiction Novel" is a must-read.

Tove (2020): A Captivating Tale of Artistic Resilience

Tove (2020)

Metaphysical Movie Review by Jacklyn A. Lo - Tove (2020).

Tove (2020), [IMDb link] is a biopic that dares to deviate from the usual dark tone of biopics, infusing the narrative with a touch of light-heartedness and humor. The film follows the life of Tove Jansson, the Swedish-language artist who created the beloved Moomin characters.

Warsaw '44: A Beacon of Hope - A Film Review by Jacklyn A. Lo

Warsaw '44

The film Warsaw '44 (2014) beautifully captures the spirit of young Polish rebels fighting for the fundamental values of Light, such as Freedom*, Independence, and Human Rights*.

Freedom, the cornerstone of Light, is the driving force behind their struggle. They yearn for independence, a concept essential for existence in worlds with higher collective consciousness than our own.

Dedication Fuels the Fight

To wage this courageous battle, freedom alone is not enough. Courage*, another essential value, is also crucial in this fight.

These young fighters bravely stood up for human rights, recognizing that Hitler's vision for Slavic nations was one of enslavement, not liberation. Slavery, the antithesis of freedom, represents the core value of Darkness.

Driven by an insatiable thirst for power, Hitler aimed to eradicate the entire Polish nation. The persecution of Jews was merely the first step in his sinister plan to reshape the world according to his twisted ideology.

Seeking Peace Through Courage

Courage, another value of Light, is also crucial in this fight. Without it, the pursuit of Peace* remains elusive. War, an intrinsic value of Darkness, fails to provide a clear explanation for why Polish teenagers willingly embarked on an armed uprising. After all, they were ill-equipped, lacking even one gun per person.

Reincarnation: Investing for the Future

The concept of reincarnation sheds light on their motivation. When viewing this life as an investment in the next, the purpose of the current life becomes clearer. In this paradigm, one life serves as the reason, while the next is the consequence.

Undeterred by the odds and challenges they confronted, the Polish rebels embarked on a mission that transcended personal aspirations.

Their unwavering spirit lit a beacon of Hope* and resilience. This left an indelible mark not only on the souls of the participants but also raised the collective consciousness of the nation.

This interconnectedness is evident in Poland's unwavering support for Ukraine during the ongoing conflict with Russia.

The Ripple Effect of Lives

Delve into the concept of a chain of lives, where one life serves as the platform for the next, and their cumulative impact on a spiritual entity, in the novel "Redemption."

Conclusion

In conclusion, Warsaw '44 is a thought-provoking film that captures the resilience of the human spirit in the face of unimaginable adversity, directed by the talented Jan Komasa.

Through the story of Stefan and his fellows, the film highlights the courage and belief in freedom and independence that fueled the Warsaw Uprising.

Despite overwhelming odds and the brutality of war, these heroes fought for the Values of Light, illuminating the darkness with their unwavering determination.

Warsaw '44 serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of standing up for what is right for you, even when it seems hopeless. It is a testament to the enduring power of the human spirit and the unwavering pursuit of Freedom.

The film inspires us to embrace the values of Light and fight for a world with Freedom and Independence reign supreme.

Jan Komasa's screenplay, infused with historical accuracy and emotional depth, is highly recommended for all ages.

Soul: A Journey of Self-Discovery and Spiritual Choice

Soul (2020)

Pixar Animation Studios, renowned for its consistently meaningful and heartwarming films, has once again delivered a masterpiece with Soul (2020).

This captivating animated film, infused with metaphysical elements, delves into the profound concept of "Spiritual Choice" in a way that resonates deeply with viewers of all ages.

Dilemma

Joe Gardner, a passionate jazz pianist, yearns to grace the jazz club stage and inspire others with his music. However, life has steered him towards an ordinary job as a middle school band teacher. His aspirations seem out of reach until one day, he faces a pivotal dilemma: accept a secure, all-encompassing existence or pursue his dreams, no matter the uncertainties.

Spiritual Choice

In essence, Joe confronts a significant milestone – the Spiritual Choice. This transformative decision, often encountered in life's journey, demands deep introspection and self-discovery. It's a moment to weigh the pursuit of true passions and fulfilling one's higher purpose against the allure of a comfortable, secure existence.

Meaningful Life

Pixar subtly suggests that the Spiritual Choice isn't about a specific decision, such as a career or relationship. It's about aligning oneself with their authentic self and embracing their true calling, even amidst challenges and uncertainties. It's about living a meaningful, fulfilling life, not merely existing.

Self-discovery

The Spiritual Choice marks a pivotal moment in every individual's journey, and Joe is no exception. His hardworking mother, understandably, urges him towards a secure path. Recognizing the inherent duration of every Spiritual Choice, Joe receives a unique opportunity to extend his final decision by entering a limbo-like state – a magical realm bridging the physical world (Earth) and heaven. The inherent duration of every Spiritual Choice underscores that these decisions are not fleeting impulses but rather ongoing journeys of self-discovery and spiritual evolution.

Light

This journey helps Joe embrace the challenge, guiding him towards a Spiritual Choice that aligns with the Light, ultimately leading him to fulfill his dream of joining a jazz band.

Light is an ocean

However, the film's ending feels slightly underwhelming when Joe expresses his concerns to the jazz band founder, who imparts a life philosophy using the analogy of two fish. The ending would have been more impactful if Joe had independently arrived at this enlightened perspective, realizing that life is an ocean, and the path to the goal is as significant as the goal itself.

Metaphysics

Complementing the "Spiritual Choice" are other metaphysical principles woven into the film, such as souls, life after death, and a higher power, adding layers of intrigue and uniqueness to the narrative.

Deepest values

In conclusion, the animated film Soul, directed by Pete Docter and Kemp Powers, is a compelling story masterfully blending profound spiritual elements with entertaining storytelling.
It invites viewers of all ages, both children and adults, to contemplate their own Spiritual Choice, prompting them to align their life's direction with their deepest values and dreams, bringing the concept of the "Spiritual Choice" to the forefront of our collective consciousness.

Enlightenment in the Middle Ages: A Review of 'Brother Sun, Sister Moon

Brother Sun, Sister Moon

Review of Spiritual film "Brother Sun, Sister Moon", 1972. by Jaclyn A. Lo.

The central theme of "Brother Sun, Sister Moon" revolves around Enlightenment, driven by the Spiritual Choice toward Light.

Thou Shalt Not Kill

The film is set in the Middle Ages in Italy, a time when war was not only accepted but even glorified despite the Christian commandment against killing.

Peace as a Value of Light

The protagonist, Francis, participates in a military campaign and witnesses the inhumanity of war. However, he makes a conscious choice2 in favor of Peace3 and returns home, much to the disappointment of his family. During his illness, Francis undergoes a profound inner transformation, experiencing Enlightenment.

Spiritual Choice of Light

Francis's Enlightenment is a direct result of his Spiritual Choice of Light that he made during the war. This Choice leads to an elevation of his consciousness, refining his perceptions and sharpening his vision of the Spiritual.

As a result, he re-discovers joy in nature4, which is portrayed as a spiritualized reality. Simultaneously, he loses interest in the materialistic values as more basic aspects of the world.

Freedom as a Value of Light

Money and material goods acquired with it, especially in large quantities, are addictive and cause dependence on the physical world. Additionally, their excessive consumption does not support spiritual development.

Francis is deeply affected by this revelation that he wishes to guide others, especially his parents, away from materialistic values. He believes that the reward for this shift is the attainment of Freedom, a fundamental Value of Light.

Unconditional Love for Nature

Spiritual enlightenment is the key to the worship of nature and its elements. Improved sense organs perceive flora and fauna at the highest level, which can only be compared with a miracle. This unconditional love of nature we seen clearly in Francis.

Absence of Anger and Hatred Towards Others

Another notable feature of the protagonist is his complete absence of anger, hatred, and other negative emotions. We observe this in several episodes of the film, where he remains calm, clear, and kind to others.

For example, Francis never blamed his parents for continuing to live their lives, as well as for the fact that they completely abandoned him. He also always maintained inner and outer calm at the receptions of high-ranking priests - both local and the Vatican pope. Also when one of his childhood friends could not continue the monastic lifestyle, he did not blame him and did not resist his departure, but on the contrary, told his friend that of course, he could be obedient to God in worldly life.

Powerful Soul

Francis's journey from wealth to a monastic lifestyle inspires some of his influential friends, highlighting his strong energy potential and unwavering dedication to achieving his goals, including the construction of a temple.

Conclusion

Brother Sun, Sister Moon, 1972, directed by Franco Zeffirelli and written by Suso Cecchi D'Amico, Charles Dyer, and Kenneth Ross. Lina Wertmüller is a remarkable spiritual film.

This film is highly recommended for those interested in exploring the concept of Spiritual Choice toward the Light and its profound consequences, such as Spiritual Enlightenment.

Notes

War is depicted as a Spiritual value of Darkness

The protagonist's choice is implied but not explicitly shown in the movie

Peace  is portrayed as one of the values of Lights

In today's high-tech world, some acknowledge that we exist in a programmed reality, but fewer realize that everything around us is alive, like a vast living being. This revelation transcends logical comprehension, given the current state of human spirituality and energy.

  • For further exploration of the concept of Spiritual Choice toward the Light and its consequences, consider reading the novel "Redemption."
