Bryan Melvin’s NDE Journey. NDE's Series

A glimpse into hell.

Today I want to share something rare and powerful: the story of Bryan Melvin from Colorado, who honestly described his Near-Death Experience (NDE) journey to hell.

👉 Watch his testimony here.

Why do I want to talk about this case?

Because to speak openly about invisible, spiritual things already requires courage—but to speak about hellish experiences, demonic bullying, fear, and panic requires triple courage. That’s why we hear so little about dark NDEs. And yet, these stories are extremely important, because they warn us and remind us that our destiny is shaped by our choices.

1. The Experience Itself

Caught between Light and Darkness

Most NDEs (90% or more) describe a paradise-like environment—friendly faces, food, family reunions, joy, and the sense that no one is judging you. People often report simply watching their “life movie” while others treat them as heroes.

But Bryan’s experience is a sharp contrast. His testimony shows that not everything is paradise, and that we shouldn’t fall into the naïve belief that whatever we do on Earth will simply be “written down” and then gently faced later.

The stakes are high:

  • Either we work hard to rise higher and break free from the spiral of reincarnation,

  • Or we sink deeper into spiritual darkness by keeping our boundaries too low.

Bryan’s story is living proof that bad deeds do carry consequences. And yet, even in the darkest places, higher powers still offer us a chance—a choice to turn towards the Light. Bryan did exactly that.

2. His Conscious Turn to the Light

Understanding beyond the words

What’s remarkable is not only what he endured, but what happened after. Returning from hell, Bryan made a conscious 180-degree turn away from darkness towards Light.

This choice raised his consciousness to a new level. Suddenly, he could not only read the Bible, but truly understand it—deeply and instantly—just by glancing at the words.

Many say the Bible is too difficult because it was written long ago, rewritten, and translated. But Bryan’s experience shows that the true barrier isn’t the text itself—it’s our level of consciousness.

  • Young souls, focused mainly on tangible things, may not yet see its treasures.

  • Darker forces may deliberately spread the idea that the Bible is useless, keeping people empty-handed or lost in false mystical labyrinths.

But when the inner shift happens, the words of holy scripture reveal their meaning.

3. A Parallel with My Novel Melissa

Face the darkness, discover the Light

Bryan’s experience also reminded me of my horror novel Melissa.

The protagonist, Nathan Melton, shares striking similarities with Bryan:

  • Both were arrogant and resistant to God.

  • Both encountered terrifying supernatural experiences.

  • Both made a dramatic spiritual turn towards the Light.

I was particularly struck by Bryan’s description of creatures that first appeared harmless, only to reveal their terrifying nature later. This mirrors Nathan’s encounter with Melissa’s seemingly normal return—until she transforms into something horrific.

While Melissa is fiction, I wrote Nathan’s experience with as much authenticity as possible. Bryan’s testimony strengthens my belief that such a journey could be real.

A Personal Note to Bryan

From darkness to awakening

Bryan, both Nathan and you walked extraordinary paths—from resistance to awakening. Your transformation from darkness to profound enlightenment is a living testimony to human resilience and the divine.

If you ever consider reading Melissa, I would be deeply grateful—not for a review, but simply to hear whether Nathan’s journey feels realistic to you. Your insights into the emotional, psychological, and spiritual sides of this transformation would be invaluable.

✨ If Bryan’s story resonated with you, and you’d like to explore a similar journey through fiction, my novel Melissa follows Nathan’s terrifying but transformative path. You can:

✨ For my readers: Bryan gave several interviews that you can find online. If you feel drawn, please explore his testimony further. It’s a reminder that choice matters—and even in the darkest places, Light is waiting.

📖 Hamlet’s Last Choice: From England to Everywhere

I thought that this Sunday I would share more reflections on Near-Death Experiences—especially the darker side, those “hellish” NDEs people rarely talk about in podcasts. But honestly, my mind is still filled with Hamlet… or more precisely, with the release of my own book, Hamlet’s Last Choice.

📖 Yesterday, Amazon announced that the very first ARC reader to receive a printed edition is from England—the very country where my inspiration to reimagine Shakespeare’s timeless tale of the Danish prince began. The book’s arrival there feels deeply symbolic, as if Hamlet has returned home.

📦 Another copy has just been shipped to Ridgefield, WA, and should arrive on Friday. Most of our ARC readers are in the United States—a country born centuries after the original Hamlet story first unfolded. But Hamlet’s journey is stretching far beyond borders: our loyal beta reader Constanza is waiting for her paperback in Portugal, while Joy C. in the Philippines may soon receive her copy via Lulu printing.

It’s thrilling to watch Hamlet travel the world!

✨ Why I Wrote This Book

“To be, or not to be, that is the question…”

The question that has echoed through centuries also whispered to me, becoming the seed of Hamlet’s Last Choice.

There’s a truth we all share: life, however fleeting, stretches between the cradle and the grave, filled with questions. This awareness of mortality is not mine alone—it echoes in Shakespeare’s enigmatic prince.

During a trip to England, surrounded by medieval buildings and weathered cemeteries, one ancient stone in particular caught my eye. Its age and quiet presence carried a spiritual depth that sparked my curiosity: Hamlet’s story stirred in my mind, calling me to explore it more deeply.

At first, I had almost forgotten the details of the original play—and even thought the prince was English! Returning home, I immersed myself in every film adaptation I could find, including the famous Russian version, and revisited Shakespeare’s text in both Old English and modern translation.

Driven by my personal goal to master the craft of screenwriting, I spent several years studying it with dedication. While reading Shakespeare’s play during this journey, I noticed moments where the story’s structure left questions open or certain details unclear—a reminder that even the greatest writers leave space for interpretation.

Hamlet’s Last Choice grew from that rediscovery: a way to honor the original while exploring the choices, inner struggles, and moral dilemmas that speak to all of us.

🌍 Voices from Around the World

What moves me most is how readers across countries are already resonating with Hamlet’s journey. Here are just a few of their voices:

🇺🇸 “Haunting, poetic, and deeply moving… this reimagining of Hamlet pulled me in from the first page.” — Reviewinator

🇺🇸 “The prose is exceptionally crafted, granting Shakespeare’s prince a depth and complexity that surpass even the original portrayal.” — Fantasyhart685

🇬🇧 “A bold and poetic twist that deepens Hamlet’s emotional journey… a powerful, original take that lingers in the mind.” — Abe Koroder

🇮🇹 “Prince Hamlet stands at a perilous crossroads: embrace the Light or surrender to Darkness.” — Marco

🇮🇳 “What stood out to me was the emotional depth… it made me think about the choices we make when pushed to our limits.” — Kindle Customer

🇩🇪 “Jacklyn succeeded in transforming Shakespeare’s masterpiece into a compelling novel about romance and power struggles.” — Tucan

✨ Each review feels like a light shining back from across the world, reminding me that Hamlet’s choices are also ours: how to face mortality, love, betrayal, and the responsibility of free will.

If you’d like to walk with Hamlet too, Hamlet’s Last Choice is now available 👉 HERE .

This Sunday, I celebrate not only Hamlet’s journey but also the readers who are walking beside him. 🌹

Hamlet’s Last Choice — Finished, Published, and FREE This Weekend!

A storm on the horizon… and in the soul.

“To be, or not to be...” — William Shakespeare

Thanks to the timeless genius of Shakespeare, Hamlet remains one of literature’s most profound and haunting stories. Today, I’m excited to share my own metaphysical retelling — Hamlet’s Last Choice: Metaphysical Retelling of Shakespeare’s Prince — now fully finished and published!

This project wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of my AI assistant, the tireless work of my beta-reader Constanza, and especially the amazing ARC readers. Many of your names will be featured in the acknowledgements and on the back cover of the printed edition as a heartfelt thank you.

Here’s what readers have shared about their journey into Elsinore through my book:

Every move is a choice. Every choice has a price.

"A completely unexpected and powerful take on one of literature’s most tragic figures. This retelling dives deeper into Hamlet’s soul in a way that feels personal and spiritual. The metaphysical lens adds complexity that made me reflect on how we all wrestle with light and darkness in moments of pain. The author didn’t just rehash the play but reimagined its heart — definitely not your average retelling, and that’s why it’s worth reading."
— CP Reader, Amazon

With an average rating of 4.6 stars from over 20 reviews across Amazon and Goodreads, Hamlet’s Last Choice is touching hearts around the world with its poetic, emotional depth.

Here’s another reflection that truly moves me:

In Elsinore, even love wears a crown of thorns.

"This book didn’t just tell me a story, it pulled me inside it — wrapped in velvet shadows, wandering through grief, doubt, and flickers of hope. It’s not about knowing the plot (we all know Hamlet), it’s about feeling it deeper. The writing is lush, the emotion raw and honest. I felt close to a character I thought I already knew. I’ll be thinking about this one for a long time."
— Suvetha Mohanram, Amazon

If you love Shakespeare, spiritual journeys, or stories that challenge the soul, I invite you to step into Elsinore Castle and experience Hamlet’s Last Choice for yourself.

🕯️ The Dark Path or the Enlightenment—Your Choice

Between chains and hope, every step is a choice — which way will you walk?

Today I’d like to share my thoughts on a book I recently came across—The WALK by William Anthony.

“Just observe, learn, and blend in as much as humanly possible in a place designed to strip you of your individuality.”

Have you ever sensed a “prison” around you—not made of bars, but of fear or conformity?

This line sets the tone for The WALK—a short but thought-provoking read that explores what it means to survive in a world where individuality is erased.

🔒 The Prison as a Symbol of the Dark World

The hardest prison to break is the one inside ourselves

The prison in the book (and, symbolically, in our world) represents a reality ruled by the absence of Light—a place where human freedom and conscious choice are deliberately suppressed.

The harsh system described is, in many ways, a reflection of the so-called “Dark World”—a realm governed by fear, control, and enforced loyalty. A world ruled by the Prince of Darkness—Satan.

In such a system, loyalty becomes a survival tactic, not a moral virtue. The characters learn to walk, talk, and even think according to the unspoken rules, where aimless wandering—wasting time for nothing—is forbidden.

This is how individuals are trained to function in dark systems. Every space and gesture becomes a test, and you learn the hard way—after all, the only card on the table is your physical survival.

✨ A Turning Point: The Inner Light

Afterward, it’s up to you: will you continue down the dark path after leaving prison, or will you awaken—guided by a glimpse of inner Light and Hope—and choose another way?

This book serves as a clear mirror: our Earth is a rough physical realm where we are all going through tests. Each of us faces different ones, based on our individual merits and karma.

👶 Young Souls and the Trap of the Material World

In the army, loyalty replaces freedom, and war becomes a softer prison

Very often, young souls with few past lives become victims of such prisons—driven by hunger for the “treasures” of the material world, or by naivety and curiosity.

In the case of curiosity, I would advise young souls: instead of prison, try the Army. War is one of the main features of the Dark World, and the Army is a “softer” version of prison—with minimal access to personal will, where loyalty to a godfather is replaced by loyalty to commanding officers.

🌍 When Nations Fall Into Darkness

Dark uniforms, cold hearts—walking a line between oppression and survival.

Unfortunately, history shows us how entire nations can fall into the Dark trap—multimillion-population countries sinking into fear, slavery, and the absence of freedom.

To make things even worse, within such countries, entire chains of prisons can be built. One such example is described in A. Solzhenitsyn’s GULAG Archipelago.

Though very different in scope from GULAG, The WALK offers a condensed, almost allegorical look at how dark systems operate—and how a soul might respond.

🔍 Beyond Social Critique: A Spiritual Lens

The book "The Walk: A Guide to Navigating Michigan Prisons" is not a social critique; it’s an invitation to reflect on deeper spiritual truths. A powerful, symbolic read for those interested in the meaning beneath the surface of everyday life.

As a metaphysical thinker, I see this story as more than just a tale of prison life—it mirrors our deeper spiritual journey.

What are your thoughts on freedom? Have you felt “prisons” in your life that needed breaking? Share your experience below!

📚 Coming Soon…

P.S. We’ll continue our journey into the NDE (Near Death Experience) series soon.
