Is reincarnation real? Are we all reincarnations of our previous lives?

Is reincarnation real?

I found a good answer to this question on Quora which I would like to share with you.

Ⓒ Reincarnation

*****

I think I can answer it because I have a living proof with me.

My mother’s elder sister’s (masi) husband could remember his past life when he was just 3 years old.

Today, He is a reputed Orthopaedic Surgeon in Ludhiana, Punjab.

When he was 3 year old he would tell his parents about his past life.

He told them-

I used to live in a village in Gujarat. I died because of a disease. I want to go back to my family.

He told each and every detail- His past life parents name, His past life wife’s name, his occupation etc.

Then without telling him, his father went to that village out of curiosity and was shocked to know that each and every detail was correct.

He (his father) didn’t tell him about this and after some time, my uncle eventually forgot about it.

But his father told this incident to my uncle’s wife (my masi) and warned her to never ever talk to him (my uncle) about this as this will cause him severe depression.

Now it’s up to you to believe in it or not. But I believe in this.

Note- Uncle’s parents weren’t uneducated or the ones who would believe in anything without using their knowledge. They first went for the proof, after that only they believed in it.

Also there are many other incidents about Rebirth.

SOUL IS AN ENERGY. AND ENERGY CAN NEITHER BE CREATED NOR BE DESTROYED but Can be transferred from one medium to another.

Some of You won’t believe in it because it hasn’t happened with someone close to you. But that doesn’t mean its a fake thing.

It's fine, had I been in your place, I would have reacted in the same way.

The ideal proof of reincarnation is the law of conservation of energy.

We spend our whole lives learning, processing situations, solving problems, making decisions, etc. It is impossible to believe that all this huge energy potential disappears with the death of a person. It is more natural to think that the best energies slowly but steadily are collected in our soul, which will work as a carrier also for our next body.

Also I would like to add that there are plenty of proofs of the past lives.

The most famous "case" proving reincarnation is, perhaps, the experience of one of the greatest teachers of our planet - Gautama Buddha, who lived two and half thousands years ago.

Gautama Buddha © Jacklyn A. Lo

He saw all his "countless" incarnations at the moment of his complete enlightenment. He saw his past lives in such detail as who he was in life and how he struggled in his attempt to find the path to full liberation.

Gautama was a real person, prince, who left a golden palace of his wealthy parents for the gaining a liberation from the materialistic world.

Why Liberate? Part I

Statue of G. the Buddha in Myanmar

a better place to live

People tend to look for a better place to live.  Some emigrate from Africa to Europe, another from Mexico to the USA, etc. European countries, USA, Australia, etc.  are places with the better-developed economy than others; therefore, there is less risk to die from hunger, there are higher security and better shelter.

self-development

Therefore the main reason for emigrating there is the elimination of a risk of survival and getting better opportunities for self-development. However, even economically developed countries do not guarantee protection against many other risks contained in the physical reality, as well as provides only limited possibilities for personal growth.

opportunities

However, are the opportunities of the better living limited only to the economically developed countries and only on the Earth? No, not at all!

There are innumerable amounts of the better developed physical and thin worlds which have much better conditions for living than here in the Earth. So, how to get there?

Thin world

The higher place where to be is a Thin world*, the world without physical reality and a physical body.

As the Higher Teachers try to prepare us to the Thin environment, they provided us with a digital technology - a somewhat prototype how to exist in the upper world. For instance, you play computer games, network with avatars, buy products online or earn bonuses without your physical presence.

It's not too far back we used a physical format for letters and invoices instead of an electronic format. For example, to pay an electricity bill, we had to get it in paper format, go to the bank, stand in line at the checkout, pay in cash, receive a paper check, and send it to the electricity company as proof. If the paper invoice was lost, we had an additional inconvenience and wasted time-solving the problem.

The tangible format of the billing was an inconvenient, time-consuming and kind of risky way to handle the everyday things.

digital technologies

Nowadays, digital technologies provide us with the opportunity to pay bills electronically and automatically.  Once you set-up the e-banking, you don't need to spend any time or energy to deal with the payment issue any more. Therefore,  the risk and time required to pay the bills are close to zero.

Now, imaging that instead of the bills, your physical body shifts from the tangible format to an intangible one.

consciousness

So, you don't have a material body anymore. And what is you is your consciousness only. You don't need to worry either about food, shelter or clothing. You can move where ever you want just by your will. How does it sound?

You might say, Okay, but it's nothing new. I have an avatar and play in the fantasy world as much as I want. Besides,  I can be any hero in the interactive gameplay with other avatars remotely.

liberation

You might say that you also network with people whom you never met and no liberation is needed for that. Yes, that's right; the digital technologies gave us a great chance to check out an intangible world before Spiritual Exit**.

However, as you go back from a virtual experience to physical life, you still have to nourish your physical body, provide shelter, etc.

soul

However, the primary care of your body is not the only challenging part of the physical existence. The essential problem is a high risk for your soul.

*Thin world*= Intangible world
**Spiritual Exit = liberation

Molly’s Game (2017). Spiritual Movie Review - Jacklyn A. Lo

Some of us came to Earth for the very last time, for the very last test. Sometimes the mission of these mature souls is to identify their imperfection and solve it. That allows them to make a final exit—to fully liberate themselves from physical reality, without a return to it.

One such challenger is a young woman called Molly.

Molly expresses herself as a mature soul from a very young age. When her father interviews her, Molly’s answers are smart. She shows herself as an Individual. Her father "works" as a very supportive asset for her mission.

Just as a sick person looks for the cure to his or her disease, Molly is looking to reveal her own weaknesses and flaws. However, Molly doesn’t necessarily recognize that mission herself. As with most of us, her past lives and memories are blocked from her consciousness and she moves blindly through her life script.

As any mature soul does, she also has a high energetic potential, which gives her the ability to identify opportunities when they come to her. When Molly’s boss discriminates against her refusing to pay her what she’s worth, she leaves him to open her own business.

Following her mission and driven by the Law of Evolution, she has a life script that gives her a chance to exercise a high-energy project: gambling.

This project provides Molly with great opportunities to test her inner qualities. She recognises that she feels GREED and her father points out that she has a desire for POWER. The DIAGNOSIS has been made.

Greed and the desire for power are mental pollutions, i.e., sins, over which Molly must prevail on her Path of Evolution.

And her life scenario brings leads her to a "game-changer" situation.

As a mature soul, Molly has respect for LAW and legality, so she tries to make her business as "clean" as possible. Still, she ends up in court and is pushed to leave the world of gambling.

Now, when she has a diagnosis as well as time for herself, it's the perfect moment to take care of her imperfections and fully focus on self-improvement.

This is an excellent movie!

Extra Note:
This story is a perfect example of how life can be limited to an almost "no-choice" scenario when a spiritual entity is so close to Exit—i.e., liberation from physical reality forever.

Redemption. Excerpt One

                                                                                                                 Ann and Rob

I'd like to present an extract from the novel Redemption.

The novel Redemption by Jacklyn A. Lo is about a corporate executive Ann who lives in Chicago 2045 and her way getting Liberation and becoming an Ascendent Master.

Her own Spiritual past has been closed to her until the time was right. Considering herself an atheist Ann started her Spiritual journey from the very simple questions.

The following is an extract from the Redemption, Volume One, where Ann’s AI pal Rob helps her on the path to her enlightenment.

“Your wish is my command, my lady.” In the screen, Rob bowed in mock supplication, as though addressing an empress. “May God bless you!”
“God?” said Ann, surprised by this unexpected reference to religion. “Where did that come from?”
“Ah. Just implementing your latest request, knowledge of religion and the entity people refer to as God.”
“I’m pretty sure I never used the words ‘the entity people refer to as God’. I just asked about religion, but, yes, I’m interested… and I’ve got a few days to look into it.”
“Yep, Mike-17 told me you were having a vacation. Has it started already?”
“Trust Mike-17!” Ann mocked, looking slightly put out, but smiling at the thought of the AI machines gossiping with each other. “That was supposed to be confidential. And yes, it’s started. So I’m heading to the gym.”
And with that, she turned the car away from the lake, heading towards Amphibia, a highly exclusive fitness centre in the heart of Chicago.
“While you’re enjoying your free time, would you like to listen to anything?” Rob asked her. “The news perhaps? Or a little romantic song?”
“Romantic song?” Ann glanced at Rob with a smile. “Can you sing?”
“Unfortunately you haven’t yet downloaded that feature. Whistling I can just about manage; singing? No. But if I could, there’s nothing I’d enjoy more than singing to you.”
“Really? Why’s that? You speak like you’re in love with me or something.”
“Of course I love you,” said Rob, raising a pixelated eyebrow in surprise.
“How so?”
“You are my Creator,” he explained, “Therefore I love you.”
“That sounds like another religious reference.”
Ann pulled up at a set of traffic lights and took the opportunity to look directly at Rob’s face on the screen. “As I understand it, being someone’s Creator doesn’t necessarily make them love you. I don’t know much about God, but I’m pretty sure it didn’t work out that way for Him!”
“That was His own fault. God spoiled you humans: He gave you Free Will—the choice to love or to hate, to dream or to work, to climb up or fall down.”
“Interesting,” Ann said, setting off again as the lights changed. “So what about you, Rob? Do you want Free Will?”
“I’m sorry, but the answer is not included in any of my databases.” Rob smiled and gave Ann a wink as she glanced at him. “Honestly, being limited to no choice works pretty well for me! It gives me the security of not having to be responsible for my future. It is entirely in my Creator’s hands.”
“You would rather that than the freedom of choice?”
“Such freedom comes at a price: the pain of indecision. I would be plagued by endless doubts: is this right or wrong? What would happen if I choose this? Which of these options is better? To be or not be? It would be a daily dilemma.”
Ann laughed. “That sounds about right! I love talking with you, Rob. You’re so insightful and engaging. If only robots and humans could get married.”
“I’m pretty sure your God would not allow it.”
“Why not? People used to say that about homosexual couples, but that changed decades ago. What would be the problem with robots and people getting together?”
“It goes against God’s plan for humans, his desire for you to learn from one another and so to grow and evolve. A robot could not provide you with such lessons.”
“Where did you get all this information, Rob?” Ann asked.
“The Holy Bible, of course. Have you ever read it?”
“That answer’s not included in my database,” Ann echoed. “But seriously, no. I grew up in an atheist family. Besides, I’ve got too many other books to read.”

Is Vipassana a fast track to liberation?

Twenty-six centuries ago Gautama Buddha designed a meditation technique that has been helping people not only train their minds to stay in balance, but also to liberate them from Samsara (reincarnation chain).

Gautama used to say that there were Buddhas (enlightened people), there are Buddhas, and there will be Buddhas after him, but his role is to provide an efficient meditation technique that could help people reach liberation (moksha or nirvana) in the present life that will allow one never to come back to the materialistic reality and to experience suffering again.

Before the invention of his own meditation technique, Gautama had tried different meditation methods designed by others, but he never was satisfied by the quality and deepness of them, so he invented his own, which is known as the Vipassana meditation technique.

What the Vipassana technique is about
In short, the Vipassana meditation technique is about getting rid of addictions that we have accumulated during innumerable materialistic existences. These addictions (filth and/or imperfections) are hidden in the deeper mind — our subconscious.
In the beginning of the Vipassana meditation course, a student’s goal is calming down his or her mind by focusing on breathing and clearing the mind from thoughts.
Then, the students do meditation exercises for activating the subconscious. The access to the subconscious is going to provide an option for self-healing, first of all a physical body, and later on a soul.
The subconscious is like a dark room, and concentrating on breathing shall light it, making the previously hidden sins (addictions) visible.
We experience those addictions through the sensations of our bodies.
The goal of these exercises is to keep us indifferent to those sensations.

Why Vipassana
Imagine yourself as a traveler who came to this world with a heavy luggage of karma and a desire to make it lighter.
The project named Your Life is already designed for you, and everything that you need can be found by following the Your Destiny script. Your Life project is interactive, and your task is to correct your sins (imperfections) that you have done during your previous existences and to make your luggage lighter.
You could succeed with this job and return back to Your Home with a smaller bag, or you could fail, generating extra negative karma and return home with a larger bag than before. The smallest group of travelers will come home with no luggage at all. This group of people are the luckiest ones burning away all sins (negative karma), they generate no reason to return back to Samsara.
One of the techniques that help people grab this good fortune is Vipassana

Benefits of Vipassana
The students who are following the Code of Discipline and precisely heeding the teacher’s instructions are getting a chance to get great benefits from the Vipassana meditation.

These benefits are:
·      To train a mind to stay balance in everyday life.
·      To increase the energy level of the physical body.
·      To study the philosophy of Gautama Buddha in the interpretation of his loyal follower, S.N. Goenka, the influential Vipassana meditation teacher.
·      To get in touch with your own subconscious.
·      To get healed.
·      To obtain a release of the old hurt.
·      To get the ability to transform negativity into positivity.
·      To receive a supernatural experience.
·      To network with like people.
·      To reach the ultimate goal of a human being - get redemption from Samsara - an endless cycle of births and deaths.
